Luce Leadership Awards Recognize Youth Working to Better Humanity

New York, N.Y.  The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation honors young leaders making a difference on a global level at its second annual Luce Leadership Awards Ceremony & Reception. Recipients are chosen on their ability to better humanity, either in the U.S. or abroad, by displaying characteristics of honor, intelligence, benevolence and integrity.

The 2014 theme for the awards ceremony is “It Takes a Team to Support Young Global Leadership” – Recognizing the Arts, Education and Orphan Care in India, Indonesia, Haiti, Sri Lanka and the U.S. Award recipients are:

  • Jesse Pollans (Motivated to Make a Change)
  • Joey Lowenstein (Breaking the Barriers of Autism)

With special music presented by The Arts Global Foundation and a keynote address on the importance of education by His Excellency Dr. Palitha Kohona, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United Nations.  Tickets may be purchased online here.  See the invitation online here.

WHEN: Monday, Jan. 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. Media Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and RSVP is required. One-on-one interviews will be made with award recipients, dignitaries and key leaders.
