One of New York City’s greatest strengths is our rich cultural diversity, and Ramadan reminds us that Islam is a vitally important part of the fabric of our city.

As families in our Muslim community observe this special month with their friends and neighbors, I wish them much happiness and joy.  Ramadan Mubarak.
