Aminatu Samiratu Gambo, an activist of the Mbororo community in Cameroon, addresses a press briefing on “Empowering Indigenous Women and Girls”. She was joined in speaking to reporters by Chandra Roy-Henriksen, Chief of the Secretariat of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA); and Tarcila Rivera Zea, a Quechuan activist from Peru and Director of the International Indigenous Women’s Forum (FIMI).
