In 1998, it began with Orphans International Worldwide (www.oiww.org), “Raising Global Leaders,” and was joined in 2008 by the J. Luce Foundation (www.lucefoundation.org), “Supporting Young Global Leadership.” The Stewardship Report began publication in 2010. This fall, our Executive Committee has become a chapter of Lions Club International – “New York Global Leadership Lions Club” (NYG-LLC) – with Advisers, Fellows, Scholar, and Leaders joining.

The J. Luce Foundation (JLF) and Orphans International Worldwide (OIWW) continue to work together closely. The Missions of the two are ‘Supporting Young Global Leadership’ and ‘Raising Global Leaders’ – through Honor, Intelligence, Benevolence, and Stewardship.

The Foundation is unique in its dual mission of providing micro (challenge) grants in addition to ‘spotlighting’ – highlighting through social media individuals and institutions uplifting of humanity.

The three most significant developments in 2015, that were highlighted at our March 10 16th Annual Leadership Awards Reception, are 1) The launch of Funds that lead into our 2017 Endowment Campaign; 2) The launch of our Fellowship Program with Marietta College that may lead into our 2016 Fellowship Program with St. John’s University; and 3) The launch of our Luce Foundation Leadership Experience, the first to Hellas/Greece in May 2016.
