Surveillance Helps Secure Singapore for Trump-Kim Summit

Washington, D.C. It’s no accident Singapore was chosen to host the historic summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. One big reason: the city is extremely safe and tightly controlled. In fact, it has one of the world’s lowest crime rates. That’s in part because the country’s pervasive system of surveillance, as VOA’s Bill Gallo reports from Singapore.
